The Camden County Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Manteo Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Camden County came out on top against Gates County on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bruins were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Red Barons. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Red Barons: they've now won six in a row.

Bradley Elias was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adam Gregory, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Manteo entered their tilt with Hertford County last Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 16-2.
Manteo got a massive performance out of Tanner Sawyer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Saywer, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Manteo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.
Manteo's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Camden County, their record now sits at 14-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Camden County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Manteo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Camden County came up short against Manteo in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 6-3. Can the Bruins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
