While losing is never fun, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 572nd, while Trillium Academy is ranked 121st).
Keymarryon Fishburn was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and six steals for Trillium Academy. Fishburn hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristian Scott, who scored eight points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Trillium Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will head out on the road to square off against Whitmore Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trillium Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hope Of Detroit Academy at 7:00 p.m.
