Eastern Alamance had a senior duo take command as Makayla Thompson dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds and Nicole Hester scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Thompson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Scott, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, T.W. Andrews put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 67-5 victory over Thomasville at home. The result was nothing new for T.W. Andrews, who have now won four games by 38 points or more so far this season.
Eastern Alamance now has a winning record of 4-3. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
