After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Avon, the Warsaw Tigers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Le Roy with points to spare, taking the game 67-49. The win was all the more spectacular given Warsaw's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while Le Roy is ranked 102nd).
Despite the loss, Le Roy still got an impressive performance from Jean Agosto, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Merritt Holly Jr., who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Warsaw back to even at 9-9. As for Le Roy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Warsaw will head out on the road to take on Albion at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Le Roy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against York at 7:00 p.m. York has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 369 points over their last five matchups.
