Softball Recap: Junction Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

While Junction's win against Leakey wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Junction sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over Leakey on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 15-5 victory on Friday.

Junction has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Leakey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12-1.

Coming up, Junction will challenge Goldthwaite at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leakey, they will face off against D'Hanis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
