After a big victory against Cle Elum-Roslyn two weeks ago, Naches Valley came back down to earth. Naches Valley were completely outmatched, falling 3-63 to Connell. Naches Valley's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Goldendale won against Cle Elum-Roslyn last Friday with 48 points, and Goldendale decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Goldendale took their game against Cle Elum-Roslyn by a conclusive 48-27 score. Goldendale were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Naches Valley simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Goldendale 41-0. Will Naches Valley repeat their success, or does Goldendale have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
