Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Stokes). They secured a 76-72 W over the Chatham Central Bears on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Bears are ranked 165th).

The victory made it two in a row for North Stokes and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Chatham Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Stokes will be home for the holidays to greet Patrick County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chatham Central, they will host Jordan-Matthews at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
