Princeton is 1-7 against North Posey since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers will host the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Princeton will be strutting in after a win while North Posey will be coming in after a loss.
On Tuesday, Princeton needed a bit of extra time to put away Pike Central. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chargers 8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Charli Kinder was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched eight innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits. Kinder was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kamryn Elliott was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Emma Gogel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Princeton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, North Posey didn't have quite enough to beat Evansville Memorial on Monday and fell 4-3.
Ayela Hoehn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, Makenna Hoehn made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double. Paige Vaughn was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Princeton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for North Posey, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
