After soaring to 55 points the game before, The Cushing Bearkats were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 50-12 defeat at the hands of Mt. Enterprise. Cushing was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.
Kaegan Ash was his usual excellent self, rushing for 367 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Ash is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last nine games he's played.
Cushing has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Mt. Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Cushing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mt. Enterprise will face off against Deweyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
