A Season-Best Effort from Jonathan Isom Leads Mitchell County over Pelham
On Friday, Mitchell County got the W thanks in part to Jonathan Isom playing the best football he has all season. Isom rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
The victory was the third in a row for Mitchell County, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Isom's next matchup is against Miller County on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
