Cummings is 4-0 against North Moore since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Cummings Cavaliers will get right back to it and host the North Moore Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses for Cummings and five for North Moore.
On Tuesday, Cummings came up short against Bartlett Yancey and fell 47-35. Cummings has struggled against Bartlett Yancey recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
North Moore suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-12 loss at the hands of Southwestern Randolph. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Moore has scored all season.
Cummings dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for North Moore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Cummings beat North Moore 38-25 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Cummings repeat their success, or does North Moore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
