Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Wyatt Sugg, who rushed for 211 yards and one score while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and Khye Gamas, who rushed for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, Sugg is now averaging an impressive 109.4 rushing yards per game.
Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's run defense was locked in: Loyola-Sacred Heart could only muster 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Sugg for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Meanwhile, Conrad humbled Shelby with a 48-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua better keep an eye on Carsen Sullivan. He was instrumental in Conrad's win, rushing for 249 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 36 receiving yards and one touchdown. Sullivan has become a key player for the Cowboys: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Tegan Jones was in the mix too, providing Conrad with two scores.
Conrad didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Noah Chambers and Sullivan.
Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's record now sits at 6-1. As for Conrad, their record is now 5-2.
Everything came up roses for Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua against Conrad in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 43-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scotties since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
