Volleyball Recap: Bloomer Starts off Right with Win over Altoona

Bloomer had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Altoona Railroaders by a score of 2-0. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Railroaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Bloomer might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Altoona scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Bloomer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Elk Mound on the 26th. As for Altoona, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hudson at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
