St. Mary's Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Knueper, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Knueper pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Moats, who scored two points along with four steals.
Even though they lost, St. Mary's Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oskaloosa only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
It was another big night for Trenten Vanhoutan, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds for Oskaloosa. Vanhoutan is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Hunter Miller was another key contributor, scoring six points.
St. Mary's Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Oskaloosa, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
