 Maynard's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 17-3. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mohawk Trail Regional, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
 Maynard took their  victory against Mohawk Trail Regional  when the teams last played  back in June of 2024 by a conclusive  12-0 score.
