The Satsuma Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss. They suffered a rough 56-32 loss at the hands of T.R. Miller. Satsuma has not had much luck with T.R. Miller recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
T.R. Miller's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brodie Anthony, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Heath Kirkland was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Satsuma's defeat was their 21st straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-19. As for T.R. Miller, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.
Satsuma won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Robertsdale at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Robertsdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for T.R. Miller, they will head out on the road to take on W.S. Neal at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (W.S. Neal is ranked 339th, while T.R. Miller is ranked 317th).
