Susquenita has gone a perfect 10-0 against Greenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blackhawks will face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Susquenita is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Susquenita's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Line Mountain. The Blackhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by nine runs or more this season.

Ayahna Fleisher made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kylah Fleisher was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Braelyn Prinz, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Susquenita always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Line Mountain only posted an OBP of .083.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Greenwood faced off against Camp Hill on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 7-4 win over the Lions.
Makenzie Devore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Elyse Messimer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Kamryn Walton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Susquenita pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Greenwood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
Greenwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Susquenita has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Greenwood, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Susquenita keep running through batters, or will the Wildcats buck the trend?
Everything went Susquenita's way against Greenwood in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Susquenita made off with an 18-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blackhawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
