The White Oak Vikings waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Croatan by a score of 62-49. That's two games straight that White Oak has won by exactly 13 points.
Kaemon Noel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Jamison Avila, who scored ten points along with six assists and three steals.
Croatan's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Green, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Jaden Hilliard was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
White Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Croatan, their loss dropped their record down to 14-2.
White Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Richlands at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Croatan, they will head out on the road to take on West Carteret at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
