White Station is 0-3 against Evangelical Christian since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Spartans will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. White Station is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
White Station barely beat West Memphis the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 16-6 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

White Station always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Memphis only posted an OBP of .423.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Evangelical Christian finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against Covington, falling 12-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Evangelical Christian also got a good showing from Harrison Smith, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Banks Addison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and earned one run and three stolen bases. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
White Station has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Evangelical Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. White Station has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. However, it's not like Evangelical Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
