Aledo is 9-1 against Azle since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Aledo will look to defend their home field against Azle at 7:00 p.m. Aledo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Aledo's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Granbury with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won eight in a row.

Aledo got a great performance from LILY HECKATHORN as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave HECKATHORN a new career-high.
At the plate, MARINA TAVERAS was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. KYLEIGH PAWLAK was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Aledo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Granbury only posted a batting average of .067.
Azle had taken Brewer down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. Azle came up short against Brewer, falling 14-6. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ryann Baker was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ema Lehr, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Aledo's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Azle, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Aledo hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Azle struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
