The Thrall Tigers waltzed into their matchup Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. It was close, but they capped 2023 with a 50-47 victory over De Leon.
It was another big night for Ashlyn Jarosek, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Thrall's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Briana Jarosek, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Thrall has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for De Leon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Thrall will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Bangs at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. De Leon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Valley Mills at 2:40 p.m. on December 29th.
