Ringling extended the longest winning streak in A District 4 this week by beating Wilson, 56-19. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Velma-Alma's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Comets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ty Richardson has thrown for 538 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Checotah Lynn has 13 catches for 201 yards. Dallen Mercer leads the league in rushing with 672 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ringling takes on Rush Springs. Tracy Gandy's team is in second place, while the Redskins are in fourth place.
Empire made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,704 from 9,568. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-7 victory over Healdton last week.
