Northeast Lauderdale waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Starkville Yellowjackets.

Northeast Lauderdale's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Starkville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Northeast Lauderdale will face off against Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.86 runs per game on average), something Northeast Lauderdale will no doubt try to take advantage of.
