Sacred Heart waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Lumberton Panthers 12-2. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Brad Marrero was a standout: he scored a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Colter Garner, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Sacred Heart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher in five consecutive games.

Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Lumberton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5-1.
