The Bishop Moore Hornets had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Deltona 59-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Bishop Moore, who have now won three matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.
Bjorn Jurgensen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 215 yards and six touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Gabriel Diaz also helped out with an impressive 93 receiving yards.
Bishop Moore's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Deltona, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Bishop Moore will be playing at home against Lake Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Buena Vista will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while Bishop Moore is ranked 85th). As for Deltona, they will head out on the road to face off against Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Ridge is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
