If Rockledge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Space Coast, they should've done a better job of containing Phillayjah Carroll. The Space Coast Vipers snuck past the Rockledge Raiders with a 41-36 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Carroll, who posted nine points along with six steals and five assists. Carroll is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Rockledge lost, don't look at Jordyn Bradley. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniya Jones, who had ten points and five boards.

The win made it two in a row for Space Coast and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Rockledge, their record now sits at 1-3.

Space Coast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-32 defeat against New Smyrna Beach on the 10th. As for Rockledge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-13 loss against Cocoa on the 10th.
