Meanwhile, St. Joseph had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 76-54 margin over West Ranch.
Tounde Yessoufou had a dynamite game for St. Joseph, scoring 43 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Price, who scored 19 points along with 6 assists.
Weston Ranch's win bumped their season record to 2-0 while Bakersfield Christian's defeat dropped theirs to 0-3.
