Boulder City came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eldorado Firehawks 47-12. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Boulder City was led to victory by Sancha Jenas-Keogh and Makayla Nelson. Jenas-Keogh gained 182 total yards and four touchdowns, while Nelson threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of her passes. Jenas-Keogh was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards. Paige Bothwell was Nelson's top target, picking up 93 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Aerith Sanchez and Kaliyah Guillory certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Sanchez gained 115 total yards and a touchdown, while Guillory picked up 68 receiving yards and one touchdown. Sanchez's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked her 11th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Boulder City's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points per game. As for Eldorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Boulder City will head out on the road to face off against Virgin Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Virgin Valley will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Boulder City surely won't give up without a fight. Eldorado has already played their next contest (against Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
