It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

1. Trinity (Louisville) - 464 pointsOverall record: 120-21
Over the past 10 years, Trinity has captured seven state championships and claimed the No. 1 ranking seven times. The Shamrocks have missed the Top 5 just once since 2004.
2. Highlands (Fort Thomas) - 445Overall record: 131-15
Highlands won six straight state championships from 2007-12, piling up up six Top 5 finishes and three undefeated seasons in the same period. They have totaled seven state championships.
3. St. Xavier (Louisville) - 319Overall record: 111-26
Despite finishing in the Top 5 in 10 consecutive years, the Tigers have won just two state championships since 2004.
4. Bowling Green - 291Overall record: 123-16
Three straight state championship victories from 2011-13 helped Bowling Green cap undefeated seasons in each of those years. They also have six Top 10 finishes since 2004.
5. Newport Central Catholic - 242Overall record: 113-32
Since 2004 the Thoroughbreds have been in seven state championship bouts, coming out the victor four times and finishing as the runner-up another three.
6. Lexington Catholic - 238Overall record: 102-34
Lexington Catholic has won three state titles over the past 10 seasons. It finished 2005 ranked No. 3 after capturing one of its three state championships.
7. Central (Louisville) - 205Overall record: 101-39-1
In the seven seasons that Central has cracked the Top 25, five of them have ended with 3A state championship victories.
8. Mayfield - 185Overall record: 117-28
The Cardinals haven't missed the Top 25 since entering for the first time in 10 years in 2010. They have piled up three 1A state titles in just four years.
9. Scott County (Georgetown) - 178Overall record: 106-29
An undefeated season in 2013 gave Scott County its first state championship since 2004 despite only missing the playoffs once in the past 10 seasons.
10. Boyle County (Danville) - 163Overall record: 105-29
Perfect seasons in 2009 and 2010 helped the Rebels capture back-to-back 4A state championships.
11. Male (Louisville) - 160Overall record: 93-36
Male has finished in the Top 25 every year since 2004 despite still searching for its first state championship.
12. Covington Catholic (Park Hills) - 158Overall record: 79-49
The Colonels' best season over the past 10 years came in 2006 when they finished the season with the No. 3 rank after claiming a 3A state title.
13. Belfry - 146Overall record: 120-24
Belfry has participated in six state championship games since 2004, piling up two state titles and four runner-up finishes.
14. Beechwood (Fort Mitchell) - 135Overall record: 108-33
Despite cracking the Top 25 rankings just four times over the past 10 years, the Tigers lay claim to three state titles.
15. Fort Campbell - 134Overall record: 100-31
Fort Campbell won three consecutive state championships from 2007-09, notching an undefeated season in 2009.
16. DuPont Manual (Louisville) - 127Overall record: 73-45
The Crimsons have eight Top 25 finishes since 2004.
17. John Hardin (Elizabethtown) - 123Overall record: 115-21
Over the past 10 seasons, the Bulldogs have twice finished with the No. 6 ranking.
18. Bell County (Pineville) - 120Overall record: 111-22
Bell County won its lone state title over the past 10 years in 2008. They finished the season undefeated and with the No. 4 rank.
19. Meade County (Brandenburg) - 95Overall record: 68-54
Although the Green Waves have only landed in the Top 25 rankings three times since 2004, they claimed a 2A state title in 2006.
20. Simon Kenton (Independence) - 90Overall record: 75-46
The Pioneers have five Top 10 finishes since 2004.
