West Clermont's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Maddi Fender, who scored 16 points, and Paige Rodriguez, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Fender scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Hale, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Walnut Hills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for West Clermont, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
