The Carbondale Terriers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Metro-East Lutheran with a sharp 71-47 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Carbondale as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Decarl Payne, who scored 30 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Carbondale's points.
Carbondale now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Metro-East Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
