Juanita has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Bellevue Wolverines at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Juanita will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Bellevue is ranked eighth).
Last Tuesday, Juanita came up short against Interlake and fell 59-49. Juanita has struggled against Interlake recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Bellevue had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 54-53 photo finish over Lake Washington. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Bellevue has scored all year.
Juanita bumped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bellevue, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Juanita took a serious blow against Bellevue when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 74-47. Can Juanita avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
