Lafayette hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive matches.
While Biloxi didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Meridian on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
The team relied heavily on Aubrey Atchison, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Aubrey Hill was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lafayette has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .542. However, it's not like Biloxi struggles in that department as they've averaged .478. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
