Basketball Game Preview: T.C. Roberson Rams vs. Lamar County Trojans

The T.C. Roberson Rams will take on the Lamar County Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, T.C. Roberson came up short against West Henderson and fell 47-37. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ryleigh Owen, who posted 12 points and six rebounds. Owen is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Addison Carrington, who had five points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Lamar County entered their tilt with Crawford County on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 62-17. With the Trojans ahead 34-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

T.C. Roberson's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Lamar County, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
