Last Friday, everything went Gateway Christian's way against Hondo Valley as Gateway Christian made off with a 58-32 win.
Gateway Christian can attribute much of their success to Ethaniel Wigley, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Munson, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, To'hajiilee took their game on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 53-26 victory over Carrizozo. The win made it back-to-back wins for To'hajiilee.
The victory got Gateway Christian back to even at 1-1. As for To'hajiilee, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
