The Marshall Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 76-60 victory over Mountain View. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Marshall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cedric Hill, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Hill pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bagdo Yetenekyan, who scored 21 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Marshall and bumps their season record up to 6-12. As for Mountain View, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-19.
Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mountain View also has no future games currently scheduled.
