After having lost a blowout in their game last week, Bourne was happy to find some success on Friday. They slipped by Diman RVT 14-13. Diman RVT can consider this payback for the 26-14 defeat they dealt the Canalmen the last time the teams encountered one another November of last year.
Bourne's victory brought them up to 2-7. Diman RVT is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Bourne will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Wareham at 10 a.m. ET in four weeks. Like Bourne, Wareham is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win. As for the Bengals, they will go up against Greater New Bedford RVT at 10 a.m. ET. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against the Bengals, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
