Dawson Martin Turns in Season-Best Performance
Dawson Martin produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Lafayette to the win on Friday. Martin rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Twin Lakes had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Martin it was a similar story. When Martin last faced the Indians back in October of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
