Sam McCully made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). McCully was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Torin DeLaere was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Gage Flairty was another key player, earning three runs and two stolen bases.
