Minooka is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Assumption. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Rockets. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up five kills. Kozak really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine.

Among those leading the charge was Emily Keiran, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Assumption, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-4.

Minooka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Salpointe Catholic on the 4th. As for Assumption, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Mother McAuley on the 4th.
