Waterloo is 8-2 against Jersey since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Panthers at 4:30  p.m. Waterloo is coming into the  match hot, having won their last nine games.
Waterloo is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They were the clear victors by  a  15-1 margin over Highland on Wednesday. Waterloo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Aidan Dintelman made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 3-for-5. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since back in March.

 In other batting news,  Sam Juelfs was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-5. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Grayce Mayer was another key player,  going 4-for-5 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Waterloo was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .378. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highland only posted a  batting average of  .148.
The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Tuesday as neither Jersey nor Granite City made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Panthers blew past the Warriors 10-3. The  win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.
 Paxton Weirich was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 12 over 6.2 innings pitched. Weirich was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Chloe Beemer, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That  triple was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Marley Cazier, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Waterloo's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-2. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Jersey, their record now sits at 8-11-1.
 Waterloo beat Jersey 3-0  in their previous matchup  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
