The Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders will head out to take on the Zion Christian Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Muskegon Catholic Central took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Grand River Prep as Muskegon Catholic Central made off with a 54-33 victory.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Zion Christian on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Wellspring Prep out of the water with a 59-27 final score. The Mountaineers pushed the score to 47-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Wellspring Prep had little chance of recovering from.

Zion Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Muskegon Catholic Central came up short against Zion Christian in their previous meeting back in January, falling 48-44. Can Muskegon Catholic Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
