Newell was out to avenge their 0-50 loss to Timber Lake from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Newell were completely outmatched, falling 6-76 to Timber Lake. This makes it the second loss in a row for Newell. The game pushed Newell down to 0-2 and pulled Timber Lake up to the reverse 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Newell will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Faith at 7:00 PM. As for Timber Lake, they will face off against Harding County.
