The Riverdale Raiders lost against the Lehigh Lightning back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Riverdale took a serious blow against Lehigh, falling 82-43.
When it comes to explaining why Riverdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Framel Avila. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Konnor Vonhagen, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Riverdale now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lehigh, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Riverdale will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mariner at 7:30 p.m. As for Lehigh, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
