The Grove City Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Fisher Catholic Irish at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Grove City Christian will be strutting in after a win while Fisher Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.
Grove City Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Harvest Prep on Wednesday as they made off with a 23-0 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.
Jadunn Harris made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Grove City Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-4-2 otherwise. Harris was also big at the plate, going 3-for-6 with three runs and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Fisher Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-0 to Berne Union.
The win made it two in a row for Grove City Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Fisher Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Grove City Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Fisher Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 8-4. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
