Kylie Fish made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Plainfield let Ava Broyles and Krista Haberkorn run wild. Broyles went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs, while Haberkorn went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Hanlin, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
