St. Anthony had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lytle Pirates as they made off with a 75-53 win. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Lytle lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Chase Guevara, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Zacharee Perez, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points.

St. Anthony has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Lytle, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

St. Anthony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-44 victory against Santa Gertrudis Academy on the 6th. Lytle has also already played their next contest, a 72-62 win against Great Hearts Northern Oaks on the 6th.
