Maiden came out on top against Newton-Conover on Friday thanks in part to Shannon Wingate's efforts. Wingate was dynamite, rushing for 193 yards and a pair of TDs. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Maiden is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
