Heide Trask is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Jordan-Matthews with a sharp 10-4 victory. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight.
Dava Bullard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
At the plate, Lauren Hall was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Meanwhile, Camden County got themselves on the board against Ayden - Grifton on Tuesday, but Ayden - Grifton never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Chargers. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.
Effie Drew made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Gordon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kaitlynn Barnes, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.
Camden County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Camden County pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Heide Trask, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
