Merced lost against Ripon Christian back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Merced Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripon Christian Knights. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Merced's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Ripon Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Merced wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Golden Valley on the 8th. As for Ripon Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Livingston on the 8th.
